Just wanted to update on Pts1. He did want to know when the photo was taken that Dengas had supplied a while back of RS. RS would have fit the description of "kitten man" better than MS. I haven't heard anything one way or another since.
As a side note:
Early yesterday evening I sent jswansails a very cordial and informative e-mail. I offered to send her the photos of MS and RB to see if either of them could be her guy. I haven't heard anything from her yet.

Ista...as we know, RB was in Orange. It seems we may have seen KEdwards in San Diego as well. Maybe he is kitten man.

I want to find Larry Montgomery, the retired investigator. Haven't found anyone near Irvine with that address yet. He apparently works now as an investigator for the OC District Attorney's Office these days.
He'd sort out the cast in the Cruz murders. His statement about the Cruz crime on the CCF episode seems to not match the comments by Pts1 during two consecutive May annual appearances on the board.

Larry Montgomery is DW contact to Manuelas murder as of last fall. Pool as I understand it, is no longer in the CC Division. He's into Internet Crimes. He'll have a field day there. But, he's still looking for DNA.

Montgomery retired October 16, 2003 from the Irvine PD according to a newspaper article from that time that I posted on the AETV board several months back. He now works for the DA's office as an investigator. Pool and Montgomery worked for two different agencies. Pool worked for OC Sheriffs which really only had jurisdiction over Dana Point (although the CCF episode implies they got all OC cold cases) and Montgomery worked for the Irvine PD which had witthuhn and Cruz. Monty was the lead investigator on Cruz. someone else was on Witthuhn. I forget who but it is in the CCF transcript. I'd be willing to bet Monty knows exactly who is who in the cast of people hanging around Cruz on her last day.
