Has anyone ever heard of this guy? My sister in California sent me this today: All has been quiet for the past month in the media regarding LA's current, but long-lasting (since 1985), serial killer, the Grim Sleeper. But not for long as America's Most Wanted will air an episode tomorrow night with the Grim Sleeper as the "featured fugitive." He's killed at least 11 people since 1985 and most recently in 2007, but one who woman escaped will be interviewed on the program along with LAPD Chief William Bratton.
When I googled him, they make him sound so much worse than EAR-ONS... WTF??? How come they're paying attention to this guy and not doing anything about EAR-ONS??? - 2Kay20

2Kay20, I am sure they are paying attention to the Grim Sleeper because he woke up in 2007. Wintergirl posted this on the A and E board: www.laweekly.com/2008-08-28/news/grim-sleeper/1 The last few paragraphs in this article discuss political delays in familial DNA testing. I say what the hell is up with that?

UNBELIEVABLE. What the hell is up with that, INDEED! I don't care if this Grim Sleeper guy has resurfaced, and frankly I hope they catch him... WHAT ABOUT ALL THE VICTIMS OF EAR-ONS? ? Why is nobody doing anything about this? WHO IS PROTECTING WHOM? I think I'm going to start writing letters to all the shows that should have been shedding light on this. It's almost as if none of those crimes ever happened... UNACCEPTABLE!

2kay20, our day is coming very soon. We will have huge publicity. It will not be until the middle or the end of November, but it is coming. You are absolutely right where the @#$%^! has the publicity been. That is about to change. I promise. I do not make many promises but I do promise publicity is coming. ;D I do not know why, but I love the teeth on this little guy.
By the way, California has neglected tis case from the beginning. I think there may be some answers to that too.

2Kay20 and Guestting,
The publicity is long overdue. Publicity at the time of the crimes might have brought quick resolution.

The Grim Sleeper is being featured tonight on America's Most Wanted, maybe he will get caught now. There is a half a million dollar reward for him.

What is wrong here? EAR-ONS may not have hurt anyone for over 22 years, but I really doubt that.
This guy is out there NOW, and they know way too little. When all the punks like this are taken care of, they'll have time for the old ones. A guy was killed down there on my birthday, not pretty at all.
EAR vs a guy or two who set a homeless man on fire last month? What's your choice?

Night driver I think you are mixing the 2 cases up that were featured on AMW. The Grim Sleeper has shot and killed 11 people, one man and 10 women. One victim, a woman lived. He uses a 25 cal weapon. Or maybe you were thinking ear/ons should have been featured instead of one of the other stories such as the burning homeless attack... and I agree AMW should run a story about ear/ons.

No, I believe I made myself perfectly clear. To me, McGraham is every bit as urgent as the Grim Sleeper.
I have my doubts about an "accidental" death up here of a local homeless. They are kinda helpless, we have to watch out for them.

Oh I see what you mean, I misunderstood. I hope they catch all these killers before they kill again.

Well, unfortunately, that didn't happen. As long as Saturday night doesn't turn into another cold one. They have more than enough down there.
I suppose that it was just coincidence that that bad one happened just about the time of the airing of the show.

Very sad about those cases, I too hope they do not go cold.
