I believe there are so many unanswered questions regarding the Goleta investigations that it is hard to tell if these are related. I do believe though that they are somehow connected- if only in the sense that some undiscovered or un-pursued evidence may lead to solving the other homicides. I really don't know why I think this.
Here is a for instance. What if on the night of the Offerman/Manning homicides, there were some young male friends playing a game of Dungeons and Dragons next door in the vacant unit? What if, the next morning, one or more of those males walked out through the police tape and was/were never cleared by LE. Is such a thing even possible?
The questions in the Goleta cases far outweight the answers at this point.
