hopefully this board will be a good alternative to the AETV board, particularly since there seem to be problems there for some at this point.

I'm here, but it seems that we are all waiting to see what will happen next...three Californians knocked off the board? What's up with that? I would like to go back to see what was going on when we started having problems, but I can't open up any of the posts anymore without freezing the keys. It's annoying, to say the least. I notified A & E; don't know if that will help. Probably won't.

It's just about pointless to try and even have an intelligent conversation on there anymore. :DI did it. I promise Jjmcgr I'll behave. If you think I'm bad here with smilies you should see me on IM. After seeing you guys talking about the price of gas in CA

The only problem I've ever had with that board is that a thread once wouldn't open.
I don't know if it matters but I have cable internet and I always break the internet connection whenever I am not actually on. With a laptop I can do this by putting the lid down. I do this because someone at my work had the same internet and someone hacked their computer online at night while their computer was connected but unattended.

I don't care about the smile things. I've made this board so anyone can join but I can kick trolls off right away.

I'm not going to visit A & E until June 30th. I'm so sick of having the keys freeze. We'll see what happens at that point -- and I'll post here instead. After camping I should be able to spend a couple of hours at the library every once in a while and visit the courthouse. I want to look up ER name in Visalia to see if he was here at any point in time.

Are Biff & Russ posting on A & E, or have they given up as well?

"Given up" I guess that would depend upon your definition of "is."
"Temporary setbacks" occur everyday in real life. Most are just that, temporary.
By the way, this is beyond "trolls", always keep that in mind.

I'm sure, ND, that it is beyond trolls. Do you have any ideas of how to catch them? It seems that they are digging their own hole by messing with our computers since their actions could be traced.

All I can say is that the wheels are turning.
The other day I did an "action," I got a "reaction." I got the message. Someone who is rather interested in our thoughts should look up the definition of "kneejerk reaction."
If only our guy was as smart as you are Dengas, maybe he would have chosen a different career path.
Gotta think a little bit now, a 2 back set, or 3 wideouts? I'll take the wideouts, in this game anyone's an eligible receiver.

ND, I know he has a big background in that field. BTW, I tried to post on AE with a different name. As soon as I hit the send the freeze up occurred. The hard drive started to wind up and the bar at the bottom had about four green bars like it was trying download. So it's not associated with our log in names. I have scanned my computer several times and nothing is found. I am baffled.
Dengas, it would be interesting to go back and see what was being presented on the AE site at that time. I had some very unusual string of post late one night that were wiped out the next morning. Soon after the problems occurred. Boy I wished I would have saved them.

Folks, I don't know what is happening with that A&E site. Even serious post are being deleted. And I'm getting tired of being accused of post disappearing when post are left that are very negative against myself. Don't think for a second I haven't wanted to remove some post, but, I haven't.

Morning all. I see more posts were removed during the night. I don't think it's all A&E messing with the board. They're about to lose one of their most popular Forums and that doesn't look good to advertisers. If anything, A&E needs to get to the bottom of it.

Hey Hey, look who's back on the board. And he's still talking about Jay and his endowment. I have always wondered if DP is really a dead person.
Also, since I'm not around, Hats R us sure doesn't have much to talk about, does she? Maybe us becoming a bunch of refugees was a blessing in disguise?
Anyone want to elaborate on what kind of topics were deleted?

DP is real. Or at least he has a real DOD e-mail address. This "J" sounds like an unreal perosn to me. The perosnal of a sockpuppet who is always on the board under a bunch of names matches 2Sam not a mythical "J." Also wonder if 2Sam's geographical connections have any play in this ballgame? Could J really be D, maybe?

Ok, I just tried to post something here, and I don't know if I hit a wrong key down on the bottom or what. But my system went out and back to IE.
I just tried to make a post over there and when I hit post it froze up. No other problems, but this is what I got on the screen.
ERROR : OE : 017F : BFF9B3D4
The funny thing is that this happened to me about 5 weeks ago, while I was on a friend's system. Every thing I did just now and back then should have cancelled my post. But the other time I got up the next day and there it was.
Ista is on to something about when and why the board goes funny. Now the question is "inside? " Or an outsider gaining control without their knowledge? Either way, not too cool for them

Ok, things are getting clearer now, much clearer. Yes, the message went through. But at the cost of pretty much locking me out of my Outlook. If you don't hear from me for a while, oh well. People with picture windows shouldn't cast stones.

I can't believe what is happening on the A&E site. I get e-mails for each post. If I'm near my PC, I see those post within 15 mins. Sock puppets and trolls can post and they remain.
Serious post are deleted, and not just post made by any one poster.

Just before I was going to shut down, he comes another one of those funnies. The screen name was a .uk, okay, so our funny bunny is a limey right??
So how come the originating IP address is registered to guess who? The Internet Assigned Numbers Authority in Marina Del Rey??? I found one queer file in the system, created about two hours ago. It goes by the name CIM, and was 2256kb.
Trivia question: Does anyone know what CIM could stand for?? Check it out. I knew this was too good to be true. I wonder what a certain person is doing right now? Night shift??

Welcome Nick G,
I think AETV may be about ready to give up on their boards or something. Remember when they were going to have that club deal which would have restricted trolls to one screenname. nothing ever came of it. This board was free and easy to set up so I grafted it onto the website as an alternative, although I do hope the AETV one rejuvenates as it is more exposed to new people.

I like it since I don't have to type faster than 20 words a minute before it freeze's up. I don't have to do Control Alt Del, hard boot the system, unplug everything and then restart. Then check to see if what I wrote was posted. Then freeze up, Ctrl, Alt, Del, unplug everything since I would freeze up again. Geez, this site is like the first Amendment. Thanks JJ. I don't know who is afraid that I post, well then again I do think I know who is afraid.

Man, I just took a look over there, and went and got a fourth bottle of Red Dog. It is so hilarious. Poor 2Sam\Super hats. She? has no one to talk to, so she goes and pulls up old posts from 2004. Please don't tell me you need that explained to you. Now, how long do we make them sweat??
The more I see, the more I agree with Ista, if A&E doesn't know what's going on, the more they look like Manny, Mo and Shep. Item: 2Sam has never indicated that they know the difference between the Red Train and the Blue Train. Earth to 2Sam, bring in the clowns.

Ok, I just ran a little test over there, and this is what I found.
There is a stupid post from our gal in Phoenix that just keeps popping up now and then. It's kinda delusional, so I won't bother to repeat it here. BUT, it's there when you are logged in as guest, but the moment I logged in, it disappeared. Oh, but nothing's happening over there, it's just my imagination,

"Things" seem to be happening today. Just thought I'd see if I'm copisetic right now.

ND, I thought of going down Coloma and take the dog for a walk along the river but I find it upseting that today is the 35 anniversary of the first known attack by EAR.

Ya know, if you say it enough times, you might believe it. Got a pocket calculator handy? And have you thought of what I was thinking of a little while ago? Naa, wouldn't dare.
I was going to start up a thread about some little fine points, but here's one to start with. In all those old threads coming back up on A&E, I noticed something that I don't think I'd seen before. In one post, 28 miles east made the statement that they were a MAN, not a woman. Not that I believe much of what that bunch says, but if someone just pressed the right button, you never what what might come out.
JJ, maybe in Kansas, and here in Kalefornia, but not necessarily in Ackworth.
