This is how the EAR/ONS will be caught. A divorce or break-up will be the end of him.

Michael L***, 54, chief executive of L*** Real Estate.

The initial investigation was triggered by a stash of material L***'s wife used in divorce procedings. then turned over to federal investigaters.

A woman who had been dating L*** turned over to investigators more video and images, including recorded sex acts with prostitutes and others, that purportedly came from L***'s computer.

The Federal investigation uncovered a collection of recordings that were taken by cameras hidden in L*** family showers, bathrooms and bedrooms.

Some pictures and video date back at least 20 years.

Over the last 36 years, Michael L*** steered the real estate company founded by his father.

L*** is a longtime Boy Scout leader in a Carmichael troop.

That post seems to be a good cut and paste job, but I do not consider that good journalism.

It's kinda hard to make him look any worse than he does right now. What kind of person keeps 20 year old possibly sexist videos around? Or was he the only one watching them?

Given his possible proximity to facets of the investigation, he certainly warrants investigation. I've always had a funny feeling that someone in the case could have been "untouchable."

Why bother to hide the name? There was a story about the whole case on the front page of the Oct 2, 2010 Sacramento Bee.

Now he is suing his law firm, the biggest firm in town (133 attorneys) claiming that a couple of them worked both sides of the case.

There is really nothing to even make him interesting, except for the fact that his dad's RE firm had sold or was in the process of selling two or three of the attack scenes.

From the book, it is pretty obvious that our guy was a scammer and a liar. I doubt that he ever had any connection to the company.

Here is the Bee's report today on Mr. Lyon's sentencing. This was a stinker of a case, and the media did not help things. But I guess they got what they wanted, but I don't have much sympathy for what he did over the years.

Michael Lyon confesses to felonies, likely faces home detention

Disgraced real estate magnate Michael Lyon tearfully confessed in a Sacramento courtroom today to secretly videotaping four prostitutes between March 2009 and last September.

Lyon, a prominent businessman whose reputation collapsed when he was charged last year with four felony counts of secretly recording interactions with prostitutes, pleaded guilty in a deal that will likely result in him spending a year in detention in his home and five years probation. He will be allowed to go to work and doctor's appointments, but will face a curfew and have his movements monitored by an electronic device on his ankle.

The judge suspended a two-year state prison sentence and recommended a year in the county jail. The Sheriff's Department ultimately will decide how his sentence will be served.
