The whole idea of coming here is flawed in my opinion. Why should we throw away what we have built up for the sake of one arsehole? I don't think coming here is flawed. What coming here is a chance for the people that knew and appreciated what the aetv forum was originally set up for to interact again.

I am going to get busy contacting Conquistador, LFL, Repo and anyone else on my friends list. I have notified Arbed, Speakel, metalhalide, Briffyboy, Arch, (I have to go and look at who else.) I encourage everyone to notify people on their friends list or request a person friend you so you can notify them.

A couple of others I would like to see here are: nek sanalet teknoslag aus_sherlock_holmes, and bear99 plus ... any lurkers who were relatives or friends of victims, for whom you know how to contact. Also, there was a lady who called herself "goletagirl" or "goletawoman" or some such. She didn't post much, but she knew the geography of Goleta and some of the people there, like Glasby, et.al. I've been contacting more since my last post above: I can try to contact GoletaGirl again, but she didn't answer my other attempts. She was going to find information for me on a poi and I think she got cold feet. I have contacted a poster named Geko, Catch_him, Repoman, Speakel, metalhalide, Lepke, Briffyboy, Arbed, Casesolverforfun, DanCartel, Conquistador, LFL. I will contact more tomorrow.

Oh, thanks Geko. That is interesting. I send to people I had previously communicated with via private message. Possibly when a&e changed over to having to friend people, it disabled my ability to communicate with you further? Hmmm.

Hi, I'm here by invitation from Geko. I'm a long term reader over at AETV, though I have never posted there. Been interested in the EAR/ONS case for a few years now.
I just wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for the huge amount of information and thoughtful commentary on the other site, and I'm looking forward to maybe posting something here now and then, also.

hi guys,thanks to drifter and sandia for putting me in the picture.its a great idea to have a safe haven away from the trolls were we can discuss this case.hopefully kev and his followers get bored and we can continue to post on the aetv website for the sole reason that someone might have key information and is more likely to encounter the aetv board than this one.

I'm super busy at work so can't really partake much but hopefully this board will take off it the a&e board doesn't work out. I don't think JJ is but someone else would be better to answer that question.

It is a shame, my concern is if we leave will they take down all the old posts where people have done some amazing research. A lot of people did some really good research and posted things. Does anyone know if there is a way to capture that information and have it stored on some file that we could access? . The best solution I can think of is a piece of software called a website downloader, I once used one a few years back to download a copy of one of my favorite websites - they usually work best if the site has text and images and small downloadable video clips + if the site does not have a CMS => which should probably be fine for the old AETV borad ...... |

Hello,
So HAPPY to find you all! I have been a long time (mostly quite) friend of the AETV board and I have a lot of respect for so many of you!! The AETV board needs to send out some electrical shock treatments for one person when he signs in over there!
Let's not loose our focus.......... this is the home stretch folks!! Keep up the good work - good people!
